Ana is the practice’s longest employee, committing her entire dentistry career to Dr. Bailey and now Dr. Sagawa. She has moved from dental assistant to dental hygiene student to hygienist, and now serves as the office manager for Sagawa NW Dentistry.

“I consider myself fortunate to help the team in many ways because of my time in this office,” Ana said. “I also value the trusting relationships I build with each patient so they can understand and value their dental care.”

Ana enjoys traveling, dancing, and Zumba. She lives with her partner Dwayne in Tumwater and loves their many adventures together.

Kacia has spent nearly two decades in dentistry at this office. She believes that dental hygiene is the best profession she could have picked because of her attention to detail and the connections she makes with patients.

She believes the best part of Sagawa NW Dentistry is the patient experience. “The patients are always treated with kindness and respect. My coworkers are competent and focused on ensuring the best experience for each and every patient.”

Kacia is an avid reader and spends almost every weekend on the soccer field cheering on her boys. She also enjoys traveling and camping with her family.

Karlene’s tooth obsession started in 2010 as an on-the-job trained dental assistant. She knew dentistry was her career path and earned her dental hygiene licensure in 2015. She’s worked for Sagawa NW since 2016.

“Being a dental hygienist allows me the space to understand your individual needs and partner with you in identifying barriers to care,” said Karlene. “I’ve been so blessed to have worked with Dr. Rose Bailey and carry on that legacy under the leadership of Dr. Juan Carlos Sagawa.”

Karlene spends her time outside of the office wrangling kids, dogs, and ducks. She has a supportive partner who loves being a dad to their two sons, Karter and Kallan. She also loves gardening and spends any spare moment she has in her vegetable and flower gardens.

Ty joined the Sagawa NW Dentistry team in 2022 and was quick to impress her patients with her attention to detail and chairside manner. Ty loves working with her patients and is an amazing mother to one.

Coral has been a dental assistant since 2004 and joined the Sagawa NW practice in 2021.

“In the years that I’ve been in the dental field, I have learned different approaches to help our patients become more comfortable during their treatment appointments,” said Coral. “I can truly say I feel blessed to help our patients reach their dental health goals.”

Coral has two children with active and busy after school lives. She looks forward to seeing you at Sagawa NW Dentistry and building trusting relationships.

Alejandra began her dental career at our clinic during her Clover Park Technical College internship in 2017 and has been with us ever since.

“During the beginning of the internship, I felt discouraged after being in several offices where it did not feel like home. Shortly after working with the team here, it felt like home,” Alejandra said. “I was officially offered the job on my birthday!”

In her free time, Alejandra loves taking care of her family, going on walks, watching TV series with her husband, and planning their next adventures.

After 32 years as a Certified Public Accountant, Lezly retired and began to care for her grandson. Then a patient of Dr. Bailey, Lezly was asked to consider returning to work as the practice’s financial coordinator in 2017. She took the job and maintains in her role today at Sagawa NW Dentistry.

“Having first been a patient and experiencing the kindness, compassion, and laughter of the office, I knew it was a place I wanted to be,” she said.

Lezly enjoys spending time with her grandson, puttering around her house and yard, and traveling to places like Seaside, Chelan, and Mexico with her husband.

Amanda began her dental career as an assistant and has transitioned to a front office position where she uses her clinical and therapeutic communication skills to provide exceptional care for Sagawa NW’s patients. You’ll probably catch her answering your phone calls and helping with insurance copays at the front desk.

“I love that my job provides me the opportunity to connect with members of our community and promote a positive experience,” Amanda said. “I strive to maintain a comfortable, warm, and welcoming environment for our patients.”

In her free time, Amanda can be found spending quality time with her loved ones and enjoying the outdoors.

Ella began her career in dentistry in 2023. She joined the Sagawa NW Dentistry team fresh out of dental assisting school after being a patient for 10 years. She loves working with her hands and seeing the immediate difference in a patient’s mood and teeth after their visit.

“Our team is super welcoming, helpful, thoughtful,” said Ella. “Everyone loves what they do and it shows. We have the same goals and we all provide the best patient care possible.”

In her free time, Ella enjoys hiking, skiing, and camping, and creating art such as pottery, sculptures, and paintings.
